The date of when The United States started is a debate between everyone.
Some think it started when Christopher Columbus came over in 1492 and others believe that it really began after the Boston Tea Party in 1774 when the colonies fought against having to pay taxes.
For me, it doesn't matter when it begin. People have fought hard for our country for a long time and still at to this day. Lets all fight hard to take back out country.
