flagpole

The metal is easy to clean due to its smooth and shiny surface and does not require painting. The pole comes in four colors; black, silver, bronze and gold. The most interesting fact about aluminium flagpoles is their versatility. This metal can be purchased as a wall mount flagpole positioned at different angles. The main disadvantage is that aluminium conducts heat and may not be suitable in residential areas or very hot countries.
Fibre glass flagpoles are extremely popular and mostly used by businesses. This metal is also durable but weighs half of an aluminium flag pole. Similar to aluminium, fibre glass flagpoles have high wind resistance and do not require painting. The greatest benefit of all, this material does not conduct electricity or heat from the sunlight and the halyards don’t make much noise during the windy months.
Timber flagpoles on the other hand are the most traditional and prestigious material of them all. However, due to cost, people tend to sway more towards aluminium and fibre glass flagpoles. Although timber is environmentally friendly, the material unfortunately attracts fungi, insects and mould which decay the wood. Having said this, if the flagpole is occasionally monitored and re-varnished it can last a life time.
